Protuil is an industrial company with a factory of 70,000 m2, specializing in the production of finished electricity pylons, Universal galvanization, and metal roofing tile fabrication. It was founded in 1978 in Annaba in the north east of Algeria and was part of the Batimetal group; it was acquired by the Rachid Bachir Group in 2008.

The group invested extensively into the firm extending its production through new investments in production lines of tubes, mesh welding lines, slitting, and cutting machines.

Founded in 2011, ERT is a construction firm. It has taken on several ambitious projects which is testament to the very talented individuals working at the firm. Projects have included large real estate construction, the erection on industrial buildings, the construction of office buildings, Hydraulic works, and public sector projects as a subcontractor for local authorities.

The Company is now dynamic enough to manage multiple projects across both the private and public sector. Through its efficiencies it is streamlined enough to operate effectively through significant challenges to the industry including for instance the Covid Pandemic.

In 1988, Rachid BACHIR created a company for the production of non-welded tubes. In 1994, the company changed its name to become Sarl Société de Profilage et Laminage de Métal (SPL Métal), and launched the first manufcaturing line of welded tube.

Its initial 5,000 m2 factory in Batna in the East of Algeria was extended to 35,000 m2 in 1999 and this expansion enlarged its installation of production lines to four lines of tubes and a mesh welding line, slitting and cutting machines, and other profile machines.

In order to satisfy its customers demands, SPL Metal has also been supplying other steel via imported products, therefore SPL metal is not only manufacturing company, but it is also a trading company.
