SPL METAL
In 1988, Rachid BACHIR created a company for the production of non-welded tubes. In 1994, the company changed its name to become Sarl Société de Profilage et Laminage de Métal (SPL Métal), and launched the first manufcaturing line of welded tube.
Its initial 5,000 m2 factory in Batna in the East of Algeria was extended to 35,000 m2 in 1999 and this expansion enlarged its installation of production lines to four lines of tubes and a mesh welding line, slitting and cutting machines, and other profile machines.
In order to satisfy its customers demands, SPL Metal has also been supplying other steel via imported products, therefore SPL metal is not only manufacturing company, but it is also a trading company.
